Surgical-Nurse Practitioner
Seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with surgical first assistant training/skills to join a highly successful cardiothoracic and vascular assessment and treatment teams. The successful candidate will have responsibilities in the OR as well as pre and post operative care management including patient education, evaluation of health status and implementation of appropriate treatment plans. Responsibilities will also include participation in vascular clinics and screening programs, hospital rounds, office hours and call rotation. Days/Nights and Rotating Shifts available. Full-Time position. Candidates must be a graduate of an approved Physician Assistant program and possess national certification and a current NYS license OR Candidates must have a Master's Degree in Nursing, national certification, current NYS NP license. Surgical First assistant experience strongly preferred for PAs. NPs, RNFA is required. Salary negotiable based on experience, full benefits package.
